World AIDS Day is acknowledged globally on December 1st every year.
It’s a day to reflect on the impact that HIV/AIDS continues to have around the world. Here in Australia we are fortunate that rates are low, treatments are effective and healthcare is good…but we cannot be complacent. The virus still exists and we need to not forget the toll that it took through the 80’s and 90’s.

Filmed in Paris in the early 1990’s – a group of activists go to battle for those affected by HIV/AIDS, taking on government agencies and pharmaceutical companies for the rights of the Gay Community and all those affected.
Join with community members, staff of ACON and Nepean Blue Mountains Local Health District’s Sexual Health Promotion Team, for this tribute in memory of lives lost and stigma lived.
